The IGNITE 2012 Queer & Trans Youth of Color Convening will be a historic gathering of queer and trans youth (14-24) of color living in the South who rarely have opportunities to struggle and build together. As such, registration and attendance to the convening will be limited to these individuals. We recommend that any folks interested in allying or working in solidarity with queer and trans youth of color contribute by volunteering, donating or sponsoring the convening, or submitting session proposals. We define “allies” as straight affirming people of color who fall outside the 14-24 age bracket.
